Supporting earthquake relief for Colombia at Lazos Latinos

Warriors took part in Lazos Latinos, a community gathering of Brisbane’s Latin American community, lending a hand in support of earthquake relief efforts in Colombia.

The stars of the day were two local businesses with a big heart: Bird of Paradise Store (@birdofparadise.store), with their handmade Colombian bags and accessories, and LatinBooks Australia (@latinbooksaustralia), with their Spanish books for bilingual kids. Together they raised $1,318, with 100% of the day’s stall sales donated directly to Horizons Projects with the Community to support earthquake relief in Colombia.

Every bag and every book sold that Saturday became direct aid. That is the community we are proud to be part of: people showing up for each other, across causes and across borders.
